Stacy-Ann Ellis is an award-winning writer and multidisciplinary creative from Queens, New York, currently living in London. 

She is a former editor at VIBE, and her culture and entertainment features, profiles, interviews, talent bios, essays, and critical reviews have also appeared in GQ, Teen Vogue, XXL, Complex, Cosmopolitan, Billboard, enRoute, EBONY and Universal Music Group, to name a few. As a freelance photographer, she's captured the likes of Cardi B, Anderson .Paak, Quinta Brunson, Winston Duke, Ella Mai, Bryson Tiller and Lizzo. And as a copywriter, she has crafted global campaigns and strategic brand voice for DoorDash, Facebook, The New York Times, REFORM Alliance, Chase, TIAA, OREO, RITZ, Hennessy, Marshalls, and BLK/OPL Beauty. 

She was a Screenwriting Top Finalist in the 2023 Richmond International Film Festival for her short film, Thorns & Stingers, and a writer on director Bartek Kik and The Martin Agency's NAACP Image Award-winning animated short, Lil' Ruby. In 2019, she directed and produced For The Love Of The Bay, a feature-length documentary about culture, community and gentrification in the Bay Area. 

Stacy-Ann holds a B.A. in Journalism with a minor in photography from the illustrious Howard University. (Yes, the illustrious is necessary.)
