Stacy-Ann Ellis is an award-winning multidisciplinary creative and emerging screenwriter from New York City, currently living in London.
As a copywriter for The Martin Agency and Droga5 NY, she has created national campaigns for brands like DoorDash, Facebook, The New York Times, REFORM Alliance, Chase, TIAA, OREO, RITZ, and Hennessy. Before that she was an editor at VIBE, where she covered music, culture and entertainment and photographed the likes of Cardi B, Anderson .Paak, Quinta Brunson, Winston Duke, Ella Mai, Bryson Tiller and Lizzo. As a freelance writer and editor, she has contributed to GQ, Teen Vogue, XXL, Complex, Cosmopolitan, Billboard and EBONY, as well as Interscope Records, Capitol Records and Universal Music Group.
In 2019, she directed and produced For The Love Of The Bay, a feature-length documentary about culture, community and gentrification in the Bay Area. Stacy-Ann holds a B.A. in Journalism with a minor in photography from the illustrious Howard University. (Yes, the illustrious is necessary.)
