DoorDash • Memory Blooms

Beyond showing appreciation and love, flowers have the ability to bring back memories for people with dementia and Alzheimers. DoorDash created Memory Blooms, a  film underscoring the profound impact a simple bouquet of flowers can have in someone's life — particularly for Jayne Neal, a young Black woman who grew up in the Jim Crow south in the 1950s.

This tender short was directed by Nina Meredith for Mother's Day.

*The full "Memory Blooms" campaign is the brainchild of creatives Paola Villatoro-Weir and Jayne Goodall. I assisted in film craft and execution.
